Hi, I'm Shula Ehrlich! I design and produce playful learning experiences.
Nintendo Labo Classroom Program brings Nintendo Labo to classrooms nationwide.
I oversaw the design and implementation of a new and improved website for Institute of Play.
For many years, I have designed and developed playful, design-oriented trainings for adult learners in a variety of settings.
During my time at Institute of Play, I spent many years collaborating with 6th-12th teachers to design learning games for the classroom.
DesignLab was a 6-week long design course for High School boys of color in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
TeacherQuest is a professional development designed to re-imagine what teaching can be through game-like learning.
I collaborate with educators to create powerful game-based learning and curriculum for K12 classrooms.
These are games that I have designed for ambient play at events — from weddings, to fundraisers, to dinner parties.
I'm a New York-based designer and educator passionate about designing learning experiences that are rooted in play and design.
I began my career in K-12 education, collaborating with teachers to design game-based learning and designing and facilitating teacher professional development. At the heart of everything I do is creating playful learning experiences that encourage learners to take risks, fail safely, learn by doing, and ultimately learn through play and discovery.
I'm currently the Senior Manager of Learning Design at Lemonade, where I'm working to get the Learning and Development team off the ground!
